If a student wants to transfer from one program to another, you can use the Edit Registration page to complete the transfer.

To transfer a student

  1. Open the Edit Registration page for the program from which the student wants to transfer.

    1. In the Student Search results page, click the Select button next to the student.

    2. Click the Registrations tab, and then click the Edit button next to the registration.

  2. In the Edit Registration page, click the Transfer link.

    The Transfer Student page displays.

  3. In the New Program box, select the program to which the student wants to transfer.

NOTE:You can only transfer to another program within the same semester.

  1. If a transfer fee is assigned to the program type for the program and you would like to charge the student for the transfer, select the Charge Transfer Fee box.

  2. Click the Save button, and then click OK to complete the transfer.

  3. If the program was already paid for, the Transfer Results page confirms that the transfer was successful and indicates that the payment has now been unapplied from the original program and needs to be applied to the charges for the new program.

    1. Click Apply in the Payments with unapplied amounts: grid.

    2. In the Apply Payment box, select the open charges and click Save.

    3. Click OK to confirm that you want to apply the payment.

  4. If the program has not yet been paid for, click on the Add New Payment link to add a payment.



    NOTE: If discounts were applied to the original registration, you may need to make some manual adjustments to the old and new registrations to reconcile the account.
