PURCHASING A MEMBERSHIP

If you have membership types created in your database, you can assign memberships to accounts and contacts through the Memberships tab on the Edit Account page.

To purchase a membership
  1. Click on the Memberships tab on the Edit Account page.

  2. Click the Purchase membership... link.

  3. In the Purchase Membership page, select the radio button next to the membership you want to purchase, and then click the Save button.

  4. Click OK to confirm the purchase.
    The Edit Membership page displays.

  5. The Start Date box will default to the current date. If needed, click the arrow to the right of the box to select the date or type the appropriate start date for the membership.

  6. The End Date will default to the appropriate end date based on the membership duration assigned to the membership. If needed, click the arrow to the right of the box to select the date or type the appropriate start date for the membership.

  7. In the Contacts tab, select the appropriate contact(s) for which the membership should be applied.

  8. Note: The number of contacts allowed for a particular membership is determined.......

  9. Click the Comments tab to add any comments about the membership purchase.

  10. Click the Save button.

  11. If applicable, navigate to the Payments tab on the Edit Account page to post a payment for the membership.
