MANAGE ADDITIONAL ITEMS

This section allows you to add additional items or options that can be used, purchased or required in a specific class.

To add new additional item

1.    On the Administration menu, select Manage Additional Options.
       The Additional Options page displays.

2.    Click the Add New Additional Option Link located at the bottom of the grid.
       The Add Additional Option page displays.

3.    In the About section, you will see the ID number for that item, the Active checkbox, the Unit Price, a checkbox for the price override, an Account Code
       textbox, Gift Type dropdown and the dates the additional option was created and modified.

4.    Check the Active checkbox to make this option active or clear the checkbox to make it inactive and unavailable for purchase.

5.    In the Unit Price textbox, type in the amount of the item.

6.    Check the Is Price Overridable? checkbox if you want to customize or adjust the price of the item depending on the class this shall be used or clear the
       checkbox to have a fixed price for this item or option.

7.    In the Account Code textbox, type in the account code for this item or option. This is an optional field but is useful for detailed record keeping.

8.    In the Gift Type dropdown, select the gift type this item is intended for.

9.    The General Info section contains the type, title and description of the item or option.

10.   In the Type box, select from the dropdown the type or category of the item or option.

11.   In the Title box, type the title or name of the item or option.

12.   In the Description textbox, type a brief description of the item or option.

13.   Click the Save  button on top of the page.

14.   Use the Image tab to upload an image for this item or option.

 
To edit existing additional items

1.     On the Administration menu, select Manage Additional Options.
        The Additional Options page displays.

2.     Click the Edit button next to the item you want to edit.
        The Edit Additional Option page displays.

3.     Select the Active checkbox to make this option active or clear the checkbox to make it inactive and unavailable for purchase.

4.     Click Unit Price box to type in a new amount or change the amount of the item.

5.     Check the Is Price Overridable? checkbox to customize or adjust the price of the item depending on the class this shall be used or clear the
        checkbox to have a fixed price for this item or option.

6.     In the Account Code textbox, type in the new account code or change the existing code for this item or option.

7.     Click the Gift Type dropdown, to change the gift type this item is intended for.

8.     In the General Info section, click in the Type dropdown to change the type or category of the item or option.

9.     Click the Title box to change the title or name of the item or option.

10.   Click in the Description textbox, to edit or add a brief description of the item or option.

11.   Click the Save  button to save the changes.

12.   Use the Image tab to upload or change the image for this item or option.

 
To delete an additional item

1.       On the Administration menu, select Manage Additional Options.
          The Additional Options page displays.

2.       Click the Edit button next to the item you want to delete.
          The Edit Additional Option page displays.

3.       Click the Delete button at the top of the page.

4.       Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
