EMAIL TEMPLATE LIST

This section contains all the existing email termplates. You have the option to add, edit or delete these templates.

To add or edit email template
  1. On the Administration menu,select Manage E-mail Template.
    The E-mail Templates page displays.

  2. To add new email template
    Click the Add new e-mail template… link at the bottom of the grid. The Add E-mail Template page displays.

    To edit an existing email template
    Click the Edit button next to the email template you want to edit. The Edit Email Template page displays.

  3. In the About section, you will see the ID number and the dates the email template was created and modified.

  4. In the General Info section, you will see the Description textbox and Share With dropdown.

  5. In the Description box, type in the appropriate name for this email template.

  6. Select from the Share With dropdown the unit you want to share this email template with.

  7. Click the Template Tab to begin creating or editing the email template. In the Subject box, type the subject of this email template.

  8. In the Body section, type the body of the e-mail, and use the formatting toolbar to format the text and layout of the message, insert a link to a file, or merge data. At the bottom of the textbox editor, you also have the option to switch from Design view whish is the layout or preview of how the email would look like or HTML where you can see the HTML code used for the email layout.

  9. When you have finished formatting the message, click the Save and Return button to save the changes and return to the Email Templates page.

To delete an email template
  1. On the Administration menu,select Manage E-mail Template.
    The E-mail Templates page displays.

  2. Click the Edit button next to the email template you want to delete. The Edit Email Template page displays.

  3. Click the Delete button at the top of the page.

  4. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
