Adding a New Contact

Contacts in ProClass are always associated with an Account. When creating a new contact record, you must create a new account as well or create a new contact for an existing account.


To add a new contact for an existing account ProClass Training Videos

  1. On the Find menu, click Accounts search, and use the search functionality to locate the account.

  2. From the Search Results grid, click the Edit button next to the account.

    The Edit Account page displays...

  3. Click the Contacts tab, and then click Add new contact....

    The Add New Contact page displays...

  4. Type a title for the contact in the Title box.

  5. Type a salutation for the contact in the Salutation box.

    Salutation would be the customer's nick name or informal name if he or she should be referred to as something other than what is typed in the First Name field.

  6. Type the full name of the contact in the First Name, M.I., and Last Name boxes.

  7. Use the tabs at the bottom of the Add Contact page to add additional contact information.

  8. Click the Save and Return  button.

    The Assign Account Contact page displays...

  9. Select an account contact type in the Type box, and then click the Save  button.
